I performed major surgery with a backache

Today I cut off the extra appendages that plagued my poor quilt.  While stooped at a nearly 90 degree angle, I sliced away with my rotary cutter.



I ignored the pain in my lower back and remained completely focused, mindful that a slip of the hand could result in permanent disfigurement.  The patient is now folded neatly across a chair back and is expected to make a full recovery.

After it was all over I ended up with a stack of triangles.  Maybe I'll make a mini quilt out of them or something.

  1. Yes, do something with those left over triangles! I like the pinwheels they make.
